Wheels and Brakes
All of our Chang Jiang 750 standard have alumium rims and stainless steel spokes. As of 2012 our restorations have been upgraded to M5 wheels from Jim Bryant. It is crucial that you know that there are dealers selling defective M5 type wheels which will shatter when riding. We warrenty all our wheels and we are bikers - we do not mess with your life. We do not sell defective life threatening parts to others! Saddest part is that the dealer is highly promoted by some community site. Buyers Beware!
The aluminum rims offer more strength and are true. They are so strong that high impact that damages steel wheels will not damage the aluminum rim however the hub might get warped. Standard is also all of our spokes are now stainless steel. More on the M5 wheels on next page. |
