Long
Distance Ride Preparation 1/3:
For
long distance rides (over 2,000KM), make sure that
your Chang Jiang 750 is prepared and replace all worn
parts and use new tires. Items you should carry should
include points, plugs, spark plug cables, head gaskets,
condensors, ignition switch, motor oil, clutch actuator,
brake shoes, brake cable, clutch cable, coil, alternator,
and tool kit. It is advisable to take a look at the
teething in the hub of all your wheels before you
start your trip and make sure none of the cables are
frayed.
Other
items that comes in really handy include: duct tape,
plastic bags, snacks, drinking water, warm clothing,
sun screen, portable chair, flash light, rain gear,
hammock, slippers, and a full size CJ750 cover. Most
importantly bring toilet paper, a bottle of water
to clean with.
