Long
Distance Ride Preparation 3/3:
More
useful information: Do not eat a large lunch or you
will get sleepy. Best to use soft luggage bags to
that you can pack items tightly. Do not carry more
than you need. Pannier boxes look great but things
will rattle inside. On most Beijing rides there are
places to buy drinks and snacks so you need not over
stock on food. What ever you bring you will have to
carry with you at night. Inspect the CJ750 when you
are done for day and also in the mornings. Keep a
close monitor on your motor oil. Wear comfortable
riding gear. Bring an extra pair of shoes. If you
have a passenger on the back, be careful if you are
travelling high speeds and extremely careful if you
swerve the CJ750, the passenger may fall off. The
bike cover makes a good rest cushion. Do ride wearing
shorts or slippers!
